The administration of the .UZ domain participated in the Central Asian Peering and Interconnection Forum (CAPIF 3), which took place on September 24-25, 2024, in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The organizers of CAPIF 3 were RIPE NCC, together with the Association of Telecommunications Operators of Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyztelecom.

The forum gathered internet service providers, network operators, cloud platform administrators, and data center operators to discuss pressing issues related to peering, interconnection, and the development of internet infrastructure in Central Asia.

At the event, a representative from UZINFOCOM, the Unified Integrator and administrator of the .UZ domain, presented the DNSSEC.UZ automation project. This project marks an important step towards strengthening the security and stability of Uzbekistan’s domain zone.
